Bio/CV:
Owen Cornwall is an intellectual historian of premodern Persian and Persianate cultures. Since 2017, he has been a lecturer in World Literatures, Religion, and Classics Departments at Tufts University. He is the co-author with Frances W. Pritchett of Ghalib: Selected Poems and Letters (Columbia University Press, 2018). He is currently a Visiting Scholar in the department of South and Southeast Asian Studies at UC Berkeley, where he is completing his book project, Alexander and the Persian Cosmopolis: Persianate Humanism in the Shahnameh and Early Persian Literature.
